How Do I Meet People?

Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandparent, a busy teen, or a parent or businessperson with big responsibilities, there’s a place you can learn, serve, and grow at our church.

Christian Education
Opportunities to get involved include helping with our Sunday schools, student ministry, children’s ministry, food ministry, church library, small group studies, conferences, prayer groups, and discipleship and leadership training.

Church Family
Opportunities to get involved include helping with church dinners, church league sports teams, transportation, deacons and deaconess ministries, 55+ Friends group, and planning special events like family camping, picnics, and other activities.

Outreach
Opportunities to get involved include helping with after-school tutoring at Lydia Middleton, planing and promoting needs-oriented ministries, outreach training, guest services follow-up, and photographing and writing about events.

Missions
Opportunities to get involved include helping with our Sister Church team, Missions trips, Justice Breakfast fundraiser and other awareness projects for freeing people from slavery, House of Hope resource center, American Baptist Women’s, Girls’, and Men’s activities, and local service projects,

Trustees
Opportunities to get involved include helping with property maintenance and and finances.

 

Worship
Opportunities to get involved include helping with music ministry, ushering, decorating, choir, praise team, technology, nursery care, and greeters
 
Administration
